Who we are

Mneme AI operates the mneme platform at mnem.dev. This policy describes how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our service.

What data we collect

  • GitHub OAuth sign-in: Your GitHub profile information and email address, used to authenticate you and associate your account.
  • GitHub App installation: When you install the mneme GitHub App, we receive repository metadata and webhook events for connected repositories. This includes data from pull requests, issues, commits, and code review comments.
  • Third-party connectors: You may optionally connect additional services via OAuth. When connected, we collect:
    • Slack — messages from channels you are a member of, channel names, and user IDs.
    • Linear — issues, comments, status changes, and user information.
    • Jira — issues, comments, status changes, and user information.
    • Stripe — payment failures, disputes, subscription changes, and customer IDs.
  • Waitlist: If you join the waitlist, we collect your email address.

Cookies

We use only functional cookies. No tracking or analytics cookies are set.

  • Session cookie: Maintains your authenticated session after signing in with GitHub.
  • Timezone cookie: Stores your browser timezone so the dashboard displays dates correctly.

How we use your data

We process the data we collect to provide the mneme service: building engineering memory and context from your connected repositories so AI tools can access your team's institutional knowledge. Specifically:

  • Authenticate your identity and control access to your repositories.
  • Process engineering signals (PRs, issues, commits, messages, payment events) from connected services to build structured memory.
  • Display activity and insights in your dashboard.
  • Send service-related communications to your email if needed.

Data storage

Your data is stored in Supabase, hosted in the United States. We use appropriate security measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections and restricted access controls.

Third-party sharing

We do not sell your data. We do not use third-party analytics or tracking services. Your data is not shared with third parties except as required to operate the service:

  • Supabase — database hosting and storage.
  • Nango — manages OAuth connections to third-party services (Slack, Linear, Jira, Stripe). Nango stores OAuth tokens on our behalf but does not access your data independently.
  • Vercel — website hosting.

These providers only process data as necessary to provide their services to us.

Data retention and deletion

We retain your data for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the service. You can request deletion of your account and all associated data by emailing us. We will process deletion requests within 30 days.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. If we make significant changes, we will notify you via email or a notice on the site. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
