Terms of Service
Effective February 25, 2026
About the service
Mneme AI operates the mneme platform at mnem.dev. The service processes engineering signals from your connected repositories and third-party services to build institutional memory for AI tools. By using the service, you agree to these terms.
Beta disclaimer
The service is currently in beta and is provided on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis. We make no guarantees regarding uptime, reliability, or completeness of features. The service is free during the beta period, and functionality may change without notice.
Data access and connected services
To use mneme, you install our GitHub App on repositories you want to connect. The App requests permissions to read repository metadata and receive webhook events for pull requests, issues, and commits. We only access data from repositories where the App is explicitly installed.
You may also connect additional third-party services via OAuth:
- Slack — access to messages in channels you are a member of.
- Linear — access to issues, comments, and status changes.
- Jira — access to issues, comments, and status changes.
- Stripe — access to payment events, disputes, and subscription changes.
OAuth connections are managed through Nango, a third-party service that securely stores access tokens on our behalf. You can disconnect any connector at any time from your dashboard.
Your responsibilities
- You must have the authority to connect the repositories and third-party accounts you link to mneme. Do not connect repositories or services you do not own or have permission to manage.
- You are responsible for providing accurate information when creating your account.
- You agree not to misuse the service, including attempting to access data belonging to other users or interfering with the operation of the platform.
Intellectual property
You retain full ownership of your code, repository data, and any content processed through the service. Mneme AI retains ownership of the service itself, including its software, design, and documentation. We do not claim any rights to your data beyond what is necessary to provide the service.
Account termination
You may stop using the service at any time by uninstalling the GitHub App and requesting account deletion. Mneme AI reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or engage in abusive behavior. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you before any suspension.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Mneme AI shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. This includes, but is not limited to, loss of data, loss of profits, or interruption of service. Given the beta nature of the service, you acknowledge that issues may occur and use the platform at your own risk.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. If we make significant changes, we will notify you via email or a notice on the site. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of the service will be resolved under the jurisdiction of the applicable courts.
